Photo exhibit benefits Haiti
The “Up Country” photo exhibit, by photographic artist David Robbins (SL aka Evad Slade), is now on display through Feb. 20 at Nantucket Square, Second Life New England, SLNE, Nantucket (35, 125, 21). Robbins’ beautiful and charming photographs of rural New England are on sale at the exhibit. All sales will be matched and donated to the Haiti Relief via Save the Children Charity. Donation kiosks are available as well for attendees at the exhibit to donate if they desire.
Robbins, who describes himself as more of a “mountain/country person than a ‘seacoast’ person”, prefers to photograph landscapes, barns and, “their stories within their details.”
The owner of "Studio 240" A photography and Graphic Design gallery in SLNE, Mystic (192,45, 23), he has had over 30 years of professional experience in magazine and book publishing and the evolving new opportunities offered through publishing in new media.
